Virtual EMDR Therapy Across UTah
Compassionate therapy that supports deep healing from the inside, out.
Trauma-informed therapy for women of faith grounded in depth, safety, and respect for your values.
Life hasn’t unfolded the way you hoped it would.
You may have imagined life unfolding differently - feeling more settled, more connected, or more at peace. Instead, you find yourself navigating loss, emotional exhaustion, or pain that doesn’t seem to resolve with time alone. It can be hard to make sense of what you’re carrying, especially when you’ve been doing your best to stay strong and faithful.
-
Grief doesn’t always come from death alone. It can include loss of a relationship, a sense of safety, a season of life, or the future you imagined for yourself. Even when time has passed, unprocessed grief can continue to surface emotionally and physically.
-
Some experiences leave a lasting imprint on the nervous system - even when you’ve tried to move forward or make sense of them through faith or reflection. Trauma-informed therapy helps gently address what your body and mind are still holding, without forcing you to relive or rush the process.
-
Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re broken or failing. It means your system is protecting you in the best way it knows how. With support, it’s possible to rebuild a sense of clarity, safety, and connection - at a pace that respects you and your values.
Hi, I’m Christa!
You've been doing your best - you don’t have to do this alone.
I believe therapy should feel safe, deeply supportive, and respectful of who you are. My role is to help you understand what you’ve been carrying, reconnect with yourself, and heal in a way that honors your values, faith, and lived experiences.
How I can help
Supporting meaningful healing at the root.
-
Trauma can shape how you see yourself, God, and the world - often long after the events themselves have passed. I work with women who carry the effects of childhood trauma, relational trauma, betrayal, and emotional wounds that feel difficult to put into words. Therapy focuses on helping your nervous system feel safter, gently processing what’s been stored, and reconnecting with your sense of self in a way that honors your faith and values.
-
Grief isn’t limited to death alone. You may be grieving the loss of a relationship, a marriage, your health, your sense of safety, or the life you expected to have. I offer space to acknowledge grief without minimizing it or rushing the process - allowing healing to unfold with compassion, meaning, and respect for your spiritual beliefs.
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain and the body reprocess painful memories that feel “stuck.” Rather than reliving the past, EMDR supports your nervous system in resolving distress at its root. This approach is especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and deeply held negative beliefs about yourself.
-
Intensives offer extended therapy sessions over a short period of time, allowing for deeper focus and momentum than traditional weekly therapy. This option can be especially support if you feel emotionally stuck, are navigating a particular painful season, or want to make meaningful progress without stretching the work over many months. Intensives are thoughtfully paced and tailored to your readiness and needs.
How it works
Life is already heavy. Starting therapy doesn’t have to be.
Reaching our for support can feel vulnerable- especially when you’ve been the one holding things together for so long.
We’ll start with a free, confidential video consultation where you can ask questions, share what you’re navigating, and get a feel for whether working together feels right. From there we’ll talk through next steps that align with your needs, values, and pace.
